To celebrate Earth Day, Willow Bend Environmental Education Center created the Earth Day 2020 Virtual Art Contest for youth artists of all ages. Youth took on the challenge of creating a piece of 2-D art, using any medium or combination of media, that illustrated the theme:
“Celebrating our Earth”
Themes included wildlife, outdoor spaces (landscapes), promoting sustainability and use of renewable energy. We had almost 40 entries, and they were ALL wonderful! Great work to everyone that participated, and we hope you enjoy the virtual gallery (scroll down to see all entries).
