Adult Education: Beverage Fermentation

Learn how to make healthy, natural, and delicious soda and beer using the power of fermentation!
Ecologist Mike Dechter will teach you how to make refreshing natural beverages including tepache, ginger beer, manzanita cider and water kefir soda. Taste the drinks being demonstrated, and go home with written instructions for making natural soda and beers at home. Whether you want to learn more about healthy food options using fermentation or want to experiment with new ingredients to concoct a killer cocktail, this workshop will be a fun and tasty experience where you can both learn and enjoy.
Cost: $25/participant or $15 for Willow Bend Members (This is a fundraiser for the educational programs at Willow Bend).
