Cross Pollination: Art Exhibition and Science Talk to Benefit Willow Bend

An evening to benefit Willow Bend! Raffle and 20% of bar sales will go directly to support our habitat gardens and Monarch Butterfly Way Station.
Join Willow Bend on Tuesday, April 25th at the State Bar, 10 Historic Route 66 from 6pm-9pm. Beautiful art exhibition, raffle, and Science Talk about Pollination Ecology with scientists from NAU’s Landscape Ecology and Conservation Biology lab.
Talk includes:
- Dr. Clare Aslan will present about mutualism or the science behind the plant-pollinator interaction (aka plant sex 😉
- Molly McCormick will talk about pollination ecology using the cross-pollination artwork as visual aids.
- Caity Winterbottom will discuss plants & pollinators in a changing climate.
- Plus, the Friends of the Willow Bend Gardens will present about their Pollinator Garden and Butterfly Way Station restoration plans.
Purchase raffle tickets in advance by calling our office (928) 779-1745, at our table during Earth Day Celebration, or at the State Bar during the event. Tickets are $5/each. Raffle basket worth over $200 with many unique items.
