In partnership with NAU's Merriam Powell Center for Environmental Research we will be hosting the second week of "Bug Camp" at Willow Bend. Fun insect focused activities and field trips.
The City of Flagstaff Sustainability Section will kick-start its 2016 Growing Community Summer Workshop series at Willow Bend with a worm composting workshop. The workshop will teach you how to convert kitchen waste into nutrient rich soil using worm composting. Workshop is free and open to the public but donations are greatly appreciated.
